We are SO excited to bring back Hammerheads Summer Arts Camp at Hammer & Stain Crystal Coast! This year’s camp lineup is packed with creativity, exploration, and hands-on fun—designed to inspire young artists while letting them experiment, express themselves, and make amazing art all week long.

Each camp week features a unique theme, a wide variety of art mediums, and a balance of creative projects, games, and activities to keep campers engaged and energized. From painting and mixed media to imaginative builds and artistic experiments, every week offers something new that is more than "Refrigerator Art". These are quality projects that will last for years to come.

🖌️ Camp Details

Cost: $300 per week ($50 Discount for Early Bird Registration before March 15th)
Limited Seats
Schedule: Monday through Friday (9AM to 12PM)
What to Wear: Please dress campers to get messy—art is fun, but spills and splashes happen!
What to Bring: Individual snacks and drinks each day
What We Provide: Water, all art supplies, aprons, and a Friday Popsicle Party 🍧

Each camper will also receive Hammerheads Camp T-Shirt or Apron. We offer flexibility related to age groups and will accommodate based on camper needs & experience. Siblings can also be grouped together despite age groups at Hammer & Stains discretion.

Camp Leadership & Experience
Susan, owner of H&SCC, is a Crystal Coast native and former special education teacher with over 18 years of classroom experience. Her background allows her to thoughtfully design and adapt art projects to support a wide range of learning styles, abilities, and comfort levels—ensuring every camper feels successful and included.

🎨 2026 Camp Weeks & Themes

Week One: June 8 – June 12

All The Things – Art (Ages 12–15)
A creative deep dive into ALL the art! Tweens & Teens will explore multiple styles, mixed media, techniques, and materials—perfect for artists who love variety, freedom, and trying new things.

Week Two: June 15 – June 19

Wild & Whimsy (Ages 6–11)
Bright colors, playful designs, and imaginative projects take center stage in this fun, high-energy week full of creative surprises.

Week Three: June 22 – June 26

Color & Chaos (Ages 6–11)
A week where campers embrace bold colors, movement, texture, and expressive techniques—messy in the best way!

Week Four: June 29 – July 3

Explorations in Paint (Ages 12–15)
Designed for tweens and teens who want to push past the basics. Campers will experiment with advanced painting techniques, styles, and personal expression.

Week Five: July 13 – July 17

Magic & Fantasy (Ages 6–11)
Enter a world of imagination! From mythical creatures to enchanted scenes, this week is perfect for campers who love creativity with a magical twist.

Week Six: July 20 – July 24

STEM & Art (Ages 6–11)
Where creativity meets curiosity! Campers will combine art with simple STEM concepts through fun, hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and experimentation.

⚠️ Important Notes

Due to planning and supply preparation, we are unable to offer refunds.
If a camper is sick or unable to attend, some projects may be offered as DIY kits to complete at home, when possible.
Parents/guardians must sign campers in and out each day.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

No refunds will be given. If a reservation is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the workshop, the customer can receive a credit towards a future project of equal value. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a credit.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

By completing registration you are agreeing to these terms.

Wood

If your project uses or is made of wood, this policy applies. This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
