This isn't your average craft workshop!

Your experience will be led by a professional glassblowing artist with over 27 years of experience creating custom glass art and more than 21 years teaching and demonstrating the craft.

You'll watch a master craftsman at work, learn the fascinating art and science behind glassblowing, and get hands-on experience creating your own one-of-a-kind glass masterpiece.

What to Expect:

  • Live glass blowing demonstration
  • A fun, high-energy experience with education + entertainment
  • Learn about the history, styles, and techniques of glass blowing
  • Hands-on participation in creating your own piece

Choose Your Project:

Each participant will create ONE of the following:

  • Coastal Conch Shell
  • Mini-Pumpkin
  • Bud Vase
  • Shot Glass
  • Long Glass Ornament

Projects are handmade, and each piece will be uniquely yours with natural variations, bubbles, and artistic character.

The Experience:

This is a leveled-up version of our traditional glass classes.

You’ll be working with:

  • Real flame
  • Molten glass
  • Professional techniques

👉 No two pieces are alike. No two experiences are the same.

Important Notes:

  • Pieces will need cooling time before taking them home
  • Closed-toe shoes required
  • Ages 18+
  • Safety instructions will be provided onsite

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: We do not offer refunds. If you are no longer able to attend your reserved timeslot, a written request for a studio credit must be submitted via email to hammerandstaincrystalcoast@gmail.com 72 hours prior to class. Requests made less than 72 hours prior may not be honored as this takes up a spot that could have been used by someone else.  We reserve the right to make that decision.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

No refunds will be given. If a reservation is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the workshop, the customer can receive a credit towards a future project of equal value. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a credit.


Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

Wood

If your project uses or is made of wood, this policy applies. This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
