Get ready to shuck things up this holiday season with one of our most whimsical coastal Christmas workshops!
Join us at Hammer & Stain Crystal Coast for a creative, hands-on experience where you'll transform an ordinary oyster shell into a charming, one-of-a-kind Santa Claus using sculpting clay, a little paint, and plenty of personality!
These aren't your ordinary painted oyster shells. You'll actually sculpt Santa's face, beard, hat, and features with clay, turning a natural oyster shell into a dimensional piece of holiday art.
šØ What You'll Experience

Sculpt Your Santa: Start with a real oyster shell as your base and use clay to build Santa's face, beard, nose, hat, and other features.

Give Him Personality: Make your Santa jolly, whimsical, traditional, or a little quirky! Each creation will be uniquely yours.

Bake & Cool: We'll bake your sculpted Santa to cure the clay, then allow him to cool before painting.

Bring Him to Life: Add color, character, and finishing touches with paint to create your own coastal Christmas keepsake.

Never worked with sculpting clay before? No problem!
This workshop is designed for beginners and creative enthusiasts alike. We'll guide you through the sculpting and painting process, sharing helpful tips and techniques along the way.
You don't have to be an artist to create an adorable Oyster Santa. In fact, some of the most charming Santas are the ones with a little extra character!

- Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
- If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
- Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
- Add to Cart and checkout.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.
No refunds will be given. If a reservation is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the workshop, the customer can receive a credit towards a future project of equal value. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a credit.
Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.
Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

If your project uses or is made of wood, this policy applies. This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
