Create a one-of-a-kind framed artwork that captures texture, depth, and personal meaning using resin and mixed media elements. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design a beautiful 11" x 14" framed piece by layering sea glass, shells, sand, crushed glass, and other embellishments—then sealing it all beneath a crystal-clear resin finish for a polished, gallery-worthy result.
This workshop is perfect for coastal lovers and creative spirits who enjoy working with texture and dimension. While ocean-inspired designs are popular, your piece can be as classic, abstract, or sentimental as you choose.
A wide variety of shells, sea glass, sand, and embellishments will be provided. You’re also encouraged to bring your own special items—sea glass, shells, or sand from a favorite beach, vacation, or meaningful place—to make your artwork truly personal.
No prior resin experience is required. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through design, layout, and resin pouring techniques to ensure a successful and beautiful finish.

The project us available as a workshop or "build it for me". Resin projects are NOT offered as Hammer@Home kits.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.
No refunds will be given. If a reservation is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the workshop, the customer can receive a credit towards a future project of equal value. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a credit.
Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.
Guest Policy
Guest Policy
Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

If your project uses or is made of wood, this policy applies. This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
